LEFT HAND DRILLS
Left Hand Aircraft Extension Drills - High Speed Steel page 110
Left Hand Aircraft Extension Drills are for portable drilling where left hand rotation is required. Often used to drill out screws in hard-to-reach places.

Left Hand Jobber Drills - Heavy Duty page 40
Heavy Duty Left Hand Jobber Length Drills are for portable or machine drilling where left hand rotation is required. Often used to drill out broken studs and screws.

Left Hand Jobber Drills - Heavy Duty - 3/8" Shank page 40
3/8" Reduced Shank Heavy Duty Left Hand Jobber Length Drills are used for drilling holes larger than the capacity of a 3/8" drill chuck. Used where left hand rotation is required. Often used to drill out broken studs and screws. Reduced shank drills should only be used for light to medium duty drilling applications as they do not have the torque strength of a straight shank drill. Reduced shank is not as hard as the body of drill to allow more flex and less breakage.

Left Hand Screw Machine Length Drills page 15
Left Hand Screw Machine Length Drills are for portable or machine drilling where left hand rotation is required. Also used to drill out broken screws and bolts.
LEFT HAND TAPS
Left Hand Standard Hand Taps page 207
High Speed Steel Left Hand Taps are designed to cut threads with a left hand rotation and are commonly used in applications where left hand studs and fasteners are needed.

Left Hand Standard Hand Taps - METRIC page 211
Metric Left Hand Taps are designed to cut threads with a left hand rotation and are commonly used in applications where left hand studs and fasteners are needed.

Left Hand Taps - Solid Carbide page 217B
Micrograin Solid Carbide Hand Taps are designed for threading difficult to machine materials and tough work hardening metals such as stainless steel, titanium alloys, Iconel, powdered metals, cast iron, plastics, and steels up to Rockwell hardness C45. Used whenever high speed steel hand taps cannot handle the job. Solid Carbide Hand Taps must have a rigid setup for use.

Left Hand Tandem Style "Acme" Thread Taps page 221C
High Speed Steel Tandem Acme Thread Taps are designed with a roughing and finishing section to produce threads from a 10 degree to 30 degree included angle in a single pass without a leadscrew. The last few threads on the roughing section act as a guide for the finishing section, which corrects the thread angles and size. The original purpose of Acme threads was to convert rotary motion to traversing motion on machine leadscrews, valves, jack lift screws, drive gears and other mechanisms where heavy loads are encountered. They have four flutes and are to be used for through holes only. Designed to produce a class 2G thread fit.

Left Hand Tandem Style "Acme" Spiral Flute Thread Taps page 221D
High Speed Steel Tandem Acme Thread Spiral Flute Taps are designed with a roughing and finishing section to produce threads from a 10 degree to 30 degree included angle in a single pass without a leadscrew. The last few threads on the roughing section act as a guide for the finishing section, which corrects the thread angles and size. Spiral Fluted Tandem Acme Thread Taps have continuous spiral flutes to lift and discharge chips in deep holes. They have black steam oxided flutes to improve finish and produce a class 2G thread fit.

Left Hand Thread Pipe Taps page 233
High Speed Steel Left Hand Thread Taper Pipe Taps are designed to cut taper pipe threads with a left hand rotation and are used in applications where left hand pipe fittings are needed. Left hand threads are also used to secure rotating parts where regular rotation would tighten the coupling.
LEFT HAND DIES
Left Hand Round Adjustable Dies - High Speed Steel page 227
HSS Left Hand Round Adjustable Dies are designed for cutting left hand external screw threads, either by hand, using a die stock or by machine using a die holder. Left hand threads are used to secure rotating parts where a regular rotation would tighten the nut, and in applications where left hand studs and fasteners are needed. They can also be used to cut smaller or larger than factory settings by turning the adjusting screw in or out. Commonly used for threading rods, bolts and studs.

Left Hand Round Adjustable Dies - High Speed Steel - METRIC page 227
HSS Left Hand Metric Round Adjustable Dies are designed for cutting left hand external screw metric threads, either by hand, using a die stock or by machine using a die holder.

Left Hand Hexagon Rethreading Dies page 233
Tool Steel Left Hand Hexagon Rethreading Dies are designed for rethreading damaged or jammed left hand threaded studs, bolts or rod. They are extra thick for more strength and are more durable than carbon steel hex rethreading dies and can be used to work in places where round die stocks cannot be used. They are not intended to cut new threads. All sizes are manufactured to be the same as a hex nut of equal thread size and can be used with any socket, open end, box, monkey, or adjustable wrench.

Left Hand Hexagon Rethreading Dies - METRIC page 235
Tool Steel Metric Left Hand Hexagon Rethreading Dies are precision Tool Steel Dies, not to be confused with standard (HXD) Metric Left Hand Hexagon Dies. Dies are extra thick to permit user to rethread damaged or jammed metric left hand threads and are not intended for producing new threads on unthreaded bars, bolts, or pipes. Metric left hand dies are same size as standard metric left hand Hex nuts.
LEFT HAND REAMERS
Hand Expansion Reamers - Left Hand Helix - Helical Flute page 195
High Speed Steel Helical Flute Hand Expansion Reamers are designed to enlarge reamed holes by a few thousandths. Helical flute, left hand helix is for reaming keyways and interrupted cut holes. The pilot and guide on these reamers are ground slightly undersize for clearance and to guide reamer. The flutes also have a ground starting taper to help guide reamer into hole. Reamer can be expanded slightly by turning adjusting screw on and off reamer.

Hand Reamers - Left Hand Helix - Helical Flute page 196
High Speed Steel Helical Flute Hand Reamers are designed for extreme accuracy and are used by hand for final sizing of drilled holes. Helical flute, left hand helix is for reaming keyways and interrupted cut holes. The square shank and fits in a tap wrench. Both styles of Hand Reamers have a ground starting taper on cutting end for easy entry.

Taper Pin Reamers - Spiral Left Hand Flute page 201
High Speed Steel Spiral Left Hand Flute Taper Pin Reamers are for use in hard to ream materials and where the reamer tends to wedge itself. They are manufactured with a taper of 1/4" per foot. They are used to ream holes into which standard taper pins will fit. The point of each reamer will enter hole reamed by next smaller size. Hole to be reamed should be a few thousandths smaller than the small diameter of the finished reamed hole. Square shank allows hand reamers to be held in a tap wrench or vise, depending on whether the reamer or the part is rotated.

Taper Pin Reamers - Helical Left Hand Flute page 201
High Speed Steel Helical Left Hand Flute Taper Pin Reamers are for machine reaming of holes for taper pins on a production basis. Helical design throws the chips forward to alleviate packing of the flutes. They are manufactured with a taper of 1/4" per foot. They are used to ream holes into which standard taper pins will fit.
