Brad Point Drills are designed to drill smooth, accurate holes in wood with minimum tear-out. Center spur point holds drill on target and prevents walking when two cutting spurs make contact with a surface, so even overlapping holes can be drilled. When carbide tipped, they can also drill into materials such as hard fiber plates, plastic materials, laminated products, chip core, or wood products containing glue. Brad Point Drills Are also known as Dowelling Bits or Lip and Spur Drill Bits.
